Helping to Alleviate Hunger

Forty-nine MILLION Americans struggle with HUNGER. That's one out of every six Americans. This is not a seasonal problem -- it's an EVERY DAY problem. These people are around us every day...they're our friends, our co-workers, their kids go to school with our kids. Sometimes we're not even aware they are struggling. This problem is closer than you think...so is the solution.

The St James Food Ministry currently accepts donations of the following items to help defray costs at Episcopal Social Services. ESS uses the food to either cook meals at their facility, or distribute to families in need through their programs. Since December 2009, you have graciously donated and we have delivered over 2,500 pounds of food! Keep up the good work...give with an open heart -- you'll be glad you did!
