SJEC Courtyard ALTAR FLOWERS

Each week, except during Lent, contributions for altar flowers are given in memory of loved ones who have died by their family and friends as well as in celebration of special events. Altar flowers are moved to the chapel for weekly services. Contact the church office for more information.

COLUMBARIUM

A beautiful Columbarium has been built in the small chapel here at St. James for the inurnment of ashes. All of the spaces have been purchased.

MEMORIALS AND HONORARIUMS

St. James regularly receives donations in memory of those who have died or in honor of special events, celebrations, and ministries of those we love. Gifts may be in any amount and are typically used for a variety of purposes that fall outside the normal operating budget.

PLAQUES FOR THE BRIDE'S ROOM

Those who have been married at St. James are invited to purchase a plaque bearing their name and the date of their wedding to be mounted on the beautiful carved wood screen in the Bride's Room. Brides pass through this room on their way to process down the aisle for their wedding.

ST JAMES MEMORIAL GARDEN

Plans have been made and space allocated in our courtyard for a Memorial Garden. If you would like to have the ashes of a loved one buried on our property, contact Deb Brinegar.

STAINED GLASS WINDOWS

There are opportunities for stained glass windows to be installed! St. James has the space for 32 stained glass windows -- in the garden corridor, new entrance area, the Guild Hall lobby, east hallway, and the playground entrance. Windows can be shared between families or divided in half or into thirds. The artist will be available to meet with each family to determine the design of the window. (All will have the vine, but the family can choose the kind of flower and the placement of the leaves.) The price includes a plaque in honor or in memory of a loved one. For more information about pricing, etc., download the brochure here.

If you or one of your loved ones is interested in this opportunity, please call the church office at (316) 683-5686.
