Daughters of the King
This is an order of women who strive to live more closely to God's will through prayer, study and service. This group is open to all women in St. James. They will meet the first Monday evening each month.
Festival of Saints
Held in November and sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women working in tandem with our across the street neighbors, Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, tickets are sold that get you into the craft shows at both churches.
Friends for Dinner
Dinner takes place at parishoners' homes with the host providing the main course and everyone else in the parish invited to bring a side dish.
Men's Prayer Group
A group of men from the parish and community meet for prayer and fellowship at 6:30 a.m. each Wednesday at St. James. All are welcome.
Olde English Tea
A time honored tradition, the Tea, which is held on the first Saturday of May, raises money for charities all over the city and country.
Oyster Dinner
Held on Shrove Tuesday every year, a good time is had by all who help out or attend the Annual Oyster Dinner. The money raised goes to Episcopal Social Services. Contact is Rod Hansen.
Wonderful Wednesdays
On Wednesday evenings a soup supper is available beginning at 5:45 p.m. with the money donated going to support The After School Program. Supper is followed by a variety of programs for all ages.
