The Annual Oyster Dinner

Held on Shrove Tuesday each year, the St. James Oyster Dinner, a fund-raiser for Episcopal Social Services, has become a Wichita tradition. Over 500 pounds of fresh oysters are flown in from the Gulf and are prepared with time-honored recipes.

Typically, about 100 of St. James parishioners and friends volunteer their time to prepare the food and the church to serve almost 500 people. Whether you're an oyster fan or not, it's great fun! Join us.
