The governing body of the Church, our Vestry, is made up of 12 lay people who are elected to a three-year term. All confirmed members of St. James are eligible for election. Along with the Rector, the Vestry oversees all committee activity and makes decisions on behalf of the entire Church community.

Vestry Stewardship Statement

We believe that St. James is God’s gift to all who enter our doors seeking God. Our community is called to serve God and our fellow human beings through worship, educations, fellowship and generosity.

With God's help, we commit to lead by example through:

• daily prayer
• weekly worship
• serving in our unique ministries
• disciplined proportionate giving
• faithfully serving the needs and concerns of the congregation

We invite everyone in this community of faith to examine their own beliefs and practices and to strive to faithfully serve for the spread of the kingdom of God as expressed in our Baptismal Covenant.
