St. James youth engage in outreach programs in Wichita and the Diocese of Kansas. The youth are a vibrant part of the parish family. They are active in the liturgy, serving as acolytes and assistants to the clergy. With their families, the youth also serve as ushers welcoming others to church for services and bearing the gifts of bread and wine for communion at the offertory.

Youth Group ( sixth to 12th grades)
Here at St. James we aren’t interested in creating a “youth group.” Instead, we would rather our youth be involved in an authentic, life-giving, and Christ-centered community. We take the time to have fun together, seek to do life together, help our neighbors, and deepen our faith.
